We recently did some kustom work for Garett Hartshorn. He’s a good dude and we are also a proud sponsor of his go-kart racing career so when we had the opportunity to paint his helmet we did not hesitate.

We took a stock helmet, which was nice but it had no personality, and we made it look totally rad. Hit the jump to see loads of in progress pics and to check out how it looks when finished.

We have a new website! It’s been up for a little while now but never posted about.

Designed by Adios using the Cargo Collective network, it features a little bit of everything that we do here at Kustom Persuasion. Some of the sections are a little sparse right now but more info and content will be added soon.

Click here: kustompersuasion.com or the photo above to be taken to the website.

New print ad

Posted in Shop Happenings on September 14, 2011 by kustompersuasion

It’s been a long time since we posted anything here. Sorry about that. Been busy at the shop. That’s a good thing. We come back with a vengeance though. Here we have our first real-deal print ad. Totally bitchin’ stuff. Done by the good dude at Adios (formerly EB Designs).

If you need some kind of work done to your auto then look for this ad in the September 29th issue of the Town Money Saver and bring it in to get an extra 10% off your next project’s total bill.

Telecaster

In between all the shop building, collision work and hot rod building we like to sometimes take a break and work on and paint some fun things. Up above is a Telecaster with a custom paint color mixed up just for this project. It’s a nice orange/brown color and really plays well with the body lines of the guitar.

Posted in Fabrication, Hot Rod, Shop Happenings with tags , , , , , , on April 6, 2011 by kustompersuasion

Had some long days at the shop lately. Worked on the rear quarterpanel of the Mustang. Wanted to get that thing on there. Looks nice. Mike was out and was working on some Nova stuff and then moved on to taking apart an engine block for an truck out here behind the shop. We also began work on one of Ed’s guitars. He stripped down a Strat and we sanded it and got it primed. We have some cool ideas ahead for this guitar. Hit the link below to see more photos of some recent stuff.

Making Progress

Posted in Hot Rod with tags , , , on March 18, 2011 by kustompersuasion

We spent the other night in the shop getting a lot done. The Nova is almost ready for paint, the booth exhaust stack is going up this weekend and then it’s on to some more good work once the Nova is out of the shop. Steve worked on fitting a rear quarter-panel to his Mustang and the next day Mario’s car was pulled into the shop and stretched out on the newly-acquired frame puller.
