Working on the shop

Worked on the new shop yesterday. LOTS of work. I had my brother and Ed come out and help my Dad and I put up the paint booth. We got it up but it’s still not ready. It needs the lights and the exhaust system hooked up. That’s coming soon. Tomorrow will yield cleaning and setting up shelves and stuff. Hit the jump to see more pics of us in action.

Customized Dunlop Crybaby

Painted up a hot-rodded Dunlop Crybaby for Black Curse guitarist/good pal Ed Blankenship the other night. Made it scream with some bright yellow paint. The original theme was going to be “Killer B.” but that was somewhat abandoned after no graphics were printed or even decided on. Whatever, it came out slick as hell in the end. In-Progress: Dunlop Crybaby

Jason got to work on a bit of a fun project last night. He threw down some screaming yellow paint onto a Dunlop Crybaby. Tonight it gets put back together and then there will be some finished shots of it once the whole project is completed.

88 is in the house

We got the 88 Dynamic rolled into the “tin hut” last night. It needed to be thawed from the icy hands that held a wintery grip on it.

That right there is the new building that will soon become the new shop. We’ve been working on getting things ready to move into there. First in line is finishing the heat and then we can begin moving tools and actually making money in there. Hit the jump to see two more photos of the inside.
